My name is Niam Patel, and I have lived in Tampa for my whole life. I went to St. Mary’s Episcopal , and I am now at Tampa Preparatory School. I’ve been playing hockey since I was 5, and I am on the Bulls hockey team. Over the years, I’ve witnessed the growth in both the popularity and demand for hockey in my hometown of Tampa, Florida. However, with that growth, I’ve also seen many players leave the sport due to the financial burden it places on their families. I want to be part of the solution by helping make this incredible sport more accessible to everyone.
